One year after being stabbed on a New York City subway train, a man is dead after being stabbed again on a train in Manhattan.
The incident took place on a 4 train at the Union Square 14th Street subway station.
The victim, Tavon Silver, was found by police with stab wounds to his torso.
Just last year, Silver spoke to FOX 5 exclusively from his hospital bed after he was a victim of another subway stabbing. Silver told FOX 5 he was riding the 2 train in the Bronx with his fiancé at the time. He said a man yelled a homophobic slur before stabbing him.
Now, LeSean Griffin, Silver's former fiance says he can't believe it's happened again.
"I was devastated," Griffin told FOX 5 NY. "It was like, this just can't be real. The same situation, but this time it led to his death."
Griffin says he had warned Silver to ignore troublemakers on the train.
"It kind of showed me, you’re one of those people. So, the minute someone say something, you have to react to it? It's not like we grew up," Griffin said.
Police are continuing to search for a suspect in the stabbing, but are struggling due to not knowing if Silver was stabbed outside the train or onboard.

Год назад чувака порезали в метро в Бронксе. Вчера его же зарезали уже насмерть там же. В первый раз он жаловался, что на него напали с криками про гомосятину. Есть у меня подозрения, что чувак делал ЧТО-ТО НЕ ТАК, раз его начали резать прямо в центре Манхэттана, где ментов просто куча. Я как раз видел, как в том месте ловили какого-то придурка - за ним неслась толпа из десятка полицаев. Сперва в сторону 6 трейна, потом в обратную сторону к L. Полагаю, жертву не просто так пидорасили, видимо любил он за попки мужиков хватать, а вот тут могли и не понять.
